The naturally appealing cloth used for these products is made in Nepal from wild nettle (known in Nepal as 'Allo'). The plant stems are soaked in flowing water, pulped and dried prior to spinning and weaving into cloth. The nettles themeselves quickly re-grow making this a very sustainable enterprise.

Some of the income generated from the sale of these items is being reinvested in new, more efficient looms and other equipment, to ensure the long term viabilty of the business.
